Have you ever looked really closely at a leaf for all the small details? What about a flower? Or seashell? There are tiny patterns and worlds found in nature that we can’t see with just our eyes! Come and take a closer look to learn more about the natural world around you with the Bald Head Island Conservancy!

Our BHIC staff will lead you in using different magnification tools to explore the beauty and diversity of the microscopic natural world. We’ll have hand lenses, microscopes, field microscopes, and digital microscopes on hand to take a closer look at different things we have found on the island. Come observe with us!
