From exhibits featuring outer space to life under the ocean, the Rocky Mount Children’s Museum & Science Center is a great place for all ages to explore, learn and most importantly, have fun!

Explore the universe in our 52-seat, digital planetarium. A variety of shows are offered every afternoon, free with admission. Check out the Planetarium page on our website for the current schedule.

Learn about the diversity of the animal kingdom in the Animal Gallery and meet our live iguanas and alligators. Willy's Crab House overlooks a nearly 3,000-gallon saltwater aquarium where you will encounter amazing ocean creatures from horseshoe crabs to puffer fish, hermit crabs and flounder.

Have fun with hands-on, interactive exhibits! Put on a puppet show, play music with a flip-flop, build, discover and experiment. A new, hands-on traveling exhibit is on display every few months so there is always something new to see and do when you visit!
