Grandfather Mountain State Park is open, but the Profile Trail will be closed until further notice due to damage from Hurricane Helene.

Grandfather Mountain State Park offers 13 miles of backcountry hiking trails. We also offer backcountry camping from either Profile Trail or Daniel Boone Scout Trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We offer outdoor programs and guided hikes for a variety of environmental topics such as dendrology and ornithology.
