Come experience a special opportunity to visit not-yet-open Salmon Creek State Natural Area. This America 250-themed event will feature local organizations from Bertie County and NC State Parks’ Big Canoes so that you can paddle on the creek. (PDFs are available in a variety of sizes.) Learn about the local plants and wildlife, the historical significance of Salmon Creek, and try your hand at some colonial games!
