Make & Take Telescope Camp

The telescope is one of many indispensable tools of the astronomer. With instruction and assistance from Imperial Centre science education staff, participants 7-12 years of age will build and learn how to operate their very own refracting telescope, useful for observing the moon and other celestial targets. Hands-on activities will include a variety of telescopes, moon maps, star charts, other observing equipment. Drop-off and pick-up are at the Children’s Museum & Science Center Classroom.
