Meet a Park Ranger at the Beech Tree Trail trailhead in the parking lot to hike the 1-mile loop where you will discover the history of Elk Knob and the surrounding New River communities. The history of “The Lost Province” and geological history of Elk Knob will also be discussed. Close-toed hiking shoes and drinking water are recommended for the hike. This program is open to all ages!
