THE MUSEUM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED, BUT WILL REOPEN IN SUMMER 2024.

The reimagined Sullenberger Aviation Museum on the campus of the CLT Airport is slated to open in the summer of 2024. Immersive storytelling and hands-on, interactive exhibits capture the imaginations of kids of all ages. The new museum galleries explore the planes, people, and industry of aviation in the Carolinas. More than 40 iconic aircraft, including the “Miracle on the Hudson” Airbus 320 salvaged from NewYork’s Hudson River, inspire visitors to pursue their dreams of taking flight and write their own stories into the future of aviation.
