Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head offers some of the best fishing on the Outer Banks. If you don’t want to fish, you can simply walk out on the 1,000-foot-long concrete and wood structure to see what people are catching. Visitors might also see surfers riding waves, passing boats, sea turtles swimming, brown pelicans overhead, bottlenose dolphins playing or even an occasional whale spouting. Catch unbelievable beautiful sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean.

This state-of-the-art facility also has large aquariums inside the pier house along with educational exhibits, restrooms and a Pier Shop. The Pier is surrounded by beautiful, wide public beaches with free parking and a bath house including outdoor showers. With its family atmosphere, Jennette’s offers something for everyone.

Anglers can find everything they need for a day of fishing inside the pier house, including rods that can be rented by the day. Inside the Pier Shop you'll find that special t-shirt to commemorate your visit. The education department holds week-long summer camps, hosts school groups on field trips and teaches ""Fishing 101"" classes.
