The NC Underwater Archaeology Branch is a rewarding and educational experience for all those interested in maritime history and archaeology. The UAB staff is responsible for identifying, documenting, and managing North Carolina's maritime cultural heritage. Tours are available by appointment, where visitors can tour the facility and see numerous artifacts from the state's storied history.
