If you’re like me (and I think you are!) knowing that the NC Science Festival is right around the corner makes me almost giddy! An entire month of increible science events at our fingertips – all over the state. There’s nothing quite like it if you love science like I do.
If you’re in the western part of the state you may be familiar with STEM Trek. It’s located in Hickory, NC, and it’s always hosted in April in conjunction with the NC Science Festival. The best part is that it’s hosted by our buddies at the Catawba Science Center and STEM West – two organizations that we are lucky to work with. They are both so committed to great STEM education in every form, and this fantastic yearly event really shows it off! Dive into hands-on activities, interactive challenges, and creative experiments led by local STEM businesses and organizations all gathered at the Catawba Science Center and Hosted by STEM West & Hickory Greater International Council.
