Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville: Sensory-Friendly Hours

We’ve crafted these low-sensory hours for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs to enjoy the Museum’s hands-on exhibit spaces and explore in a calmer, quieter environment.

We invite all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorders and vision or hearing impairments and their caregivers to interact with our science shows, experiences and exhibits.
